The ICU at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital is a 14-bed multidisciplinary unit that cares for critically ill patients with obstetrical and gynecological diseases, including high-risk obstetrics and gynecological cancer, as well as patients requiring general medical and surgical critical care. The ICU team also provides consultative services to the six-bed obstetric high-dependency unit and manages the Rapid Response System for the hospital.
