Welcome, Incoming Class of Adult Critical Care Medicine Fellows!

Fri, 09/16/2016

A warm welcome to the nineteen Adult Critical Care Medicine first-year fellows!

The fellows entering the Multidisciplinary Critical Care Training Program (MCCTP) in the Department of Critical Care Medicine hail from all around the world and the United States. They were drawn to our program in part because of the diversity in patient care opportunities and the range of experiences to be encountered in CCM’s fourteen Intensive Care Units. Many were also attracted to the program by the strength of the faculty, who operate as both teachers and investigators.

Five different Critical Care Fellowship programs—Anesthesiology, Neurocritical Care, Surgical Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine—provide fellows with a rich multidisciplinary approach to patient care. After they complete their fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, one of the founding institutions of Critical Care Medicine, the fellows will join a long list of distinguished alumni.
