Department Honors 2023 Graduating Fellows:
A graduation reception and dinner were held Saturday, June 10, at the River’s Club honoring the department’s 25 graduating fellows. Faculty members, colleagues, and family celebrated the hard work and dedication of our graduates.
Special awards were presented to Caitlin McNamara, MD, the Pediatric Chief Fellow, and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Fellow of the Year. Yolandee Bell-Cheddar, MD, was awarded the Pediatric Faculty Educator of the Year. Shan Modi, MD, and Nauman Farooq, MD, were the Adult Chief Fellows. Ricky Hansra, MD, was awarded the Adult Faculty Educator of the Year. The Medical Student Teacher of the Year was awarded to Turky Alsubahi, MD.
Our 25 graduates completed programs in Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine/Internal Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Surgical Critical Care, on the adult side, and Cardiac Critical Care and Critical Care Medicine, on the pediatric side.
